Weddings

A church wedding is a wonderful way to begin your life together as husband and wife. We bring you, together with your family and friends, into the presence of God, and seek his blessing on your union. 

 

We are able to hold weddings in any of our churches, although capacity is much more limited in most of our village churches.

 

If you would like explore the possibility of a church wedding, your first step will be to contact the Church Office, and one of our administrators will tell you about the process. You will be required to have a connection with the parish you wish to marry in, although this can be established if necessary.

 

Please note that if you have been previously married, a church wedding may not be possible, but our administrators will arrange for you to speak with the vicar about your circumstances and to explore this together with you.
